Dr Jayawardena

Qualifications: MBChB MRCGP MSc DRCOG. GMC Registered 7263687

Dr Jayawardena completed her medical training at University of Birmingham in 2012. She completed her postgraduate Masters (MSc.) in Health Research at University of Warwick in 2015.

She completed her GP training in 2018 and Obtained MRCGP working in various specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Acute Medicine, Accident and Emergency, Elderly care, Paediatrics, Genitourinary medicine, Psychiatry and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed further postgraduate exams and gained a Diploma (DRCOG) from the Royal college of obstetricians and gynaecologists in 2016 and Management of Gynaecology in the Community from Primary care clinical Sciences, University of Birmingham in April 2016.

She currently works as a full time Locum GP in Birmingham and Solihull. She has a special interest in Women’s and Sexual health. She enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with her family and dog outside of work.
