Barbados Visa Medicals

The work & living visas for Barbados require applicants to undergo medical assessment on arrival in the country, at a government-designated clinic.

You can have some of the necessary tests in the UK in advance of this. It is advised that you do these tests privately in the UK to speed up the visa process once you arrive in Barbados. We will have your results ready for you within 2 – 3 days, & can ensure that your routine vaccinations are up to date, as well as provide you with the Hepatitis A & Typhoid vaccines, which are recommended for all travellers to Barbados.

Our doctors are accredited by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, ensuring your results can be processed faster.

Process:

Our Requirements: Please bring your passport and passport-sized photo with you to your medical examination so we can verify your identity. You will also need to arrive with a full bladder for your urine test.

The Test: Your doctor will start with a medical examination. They will then take a blood and urine sample for further testing, after which you will have a chest x-ray.

Results: Your results and report will be available within 2-3 working days. You will need to take your medical report to the FCO to be legalised and then submit this to the consulate.
